SOLUTIONS FOR THE COATING OF PLASTIC MATERIALS

Using the latest technologies CMA Robotics has designed complete systems that have immediately brought great advantages in terms of quality and production, minimizing human presence, production time and avoiding paint waste.

Thanks to its experience, CMA has developed different solutions for the painting of plastic materials with stand-alone spraying robots or with carousel.

The solutions for the painting of plastic materials include not only the painting robots but also the flaming preparation robots and all the devices for the control of the movement and rotation of the supports.
The robot can work alone or in combination with connected solutions, managed by the control booth and the software. The various sizes, types of programming and payloads available allow to provide customized painting solutions according to customer needs.

Below are some examples of projects carried out in the plastics sector:

- Supply of 5 robots for a painting system for plastic parts in the automotive sector. The robots perform the following functions in the order: washing parts with CO2, flaming station, primer application, basic application, transparent application. Complete system with paint mixing and dosing equipment;

- CMA Robotics has realized a complete painting equipment for the supply of the spraying line for plastic components. It has supplied a solution composed by n.3 robots with all servo-controlled rotation devices and control unit, the necessary spraying equipment with 2k mixing gear pumps, a dedicated solution according to the single spraying procedure and the customer's customized request;

- CMA has created an automatic system with vision scanner developed according to the customer's needs for spraying glue on foam rubber products for the production of potrons and sofas, with the aim of increasing quality and productivity. The vision system allows the operator to position the pieces on the conveyor belt and the CMA software processes the spraying program in auto-generation according to the rules, parameters and modes set for the working cycle.
